Some of our team even have e-bikes they’ve built themselves, so they’re zooming around Winnipeg and making a positive impact on the environment. We also look at our website builds to ensure they are server-friendly, with minimal code-bloat, and enhanced site speed.
Giving Back to Move Forward
Every year we give back part of our proceeds to various charities across Canada and the world. We don’t have a focus on who we give back to, but we do want to make sure we’re doing our part to make a better world moving forward.
World Wildlife Fund
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is a leading global conservation organization dedicated to the protection of endangered species and their habitats. WWF works on a variety of projects aimed at preserving biodiversity, ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources, and addressing climate change. Their initiatives range from protecting iconic wildlife like tigers, elephants, and pandas to promoting sustainable fishing practices and advocating for climate action. We’ve supported this cause for several years helping save as many animals as possible!
Make-A-Wish Canada
Make-A-Wish Canada is a nonprofit organization that grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. By providing children with experiences that bring joy, hope, and strength, Make-A-Wish aims to improve their quality of life and create lasting, positive memories. Wishes can range from travel adventures and meeting celebrities to receiving special gifts or hosting community events, all designed to inspire and uplift children and their families.
We’re proud to support Make-A-Wish Canada year-over-year, helping to make dreams come true for children in need Including Zachary, Hailey, and Jace.
The Ocean Cleanup
The Ocean Cleanup is an innovative organization focused on developing advanced technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic pollution. Their projects include deploying large-scale cleanup systems in major ocean gyres and intercepting plastic in rivers before it reaches the ocean. By tackling the root causes and implementing sustainable solutions, The Ocean Cleanup aims to significantly reduce marine debris and protect marine ecosystems.
We’ve donated to this cause for several years, helping to remove over 1,000 pounds of trash from the ocean.
Conservation International
Conservation International is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting nature for the benefit of people and wildlife. Conservation International works on various projects to safeguard critical ecosystems, promote sustainable development, and address climate change. Their efforts include protecting forests, oceans, and freshwater systems, working with Indigenous communities, and advocating for policies that support environmental conservation.
We’ve supported Conservation International by funding projects that protect vital ecosystems and promote sustainable development.
Canadian Red Cross
The Canadian Red Cross is part of the global Red Cross and Red Crescent humanitarian network, providing emergency assistance, disaster relief, and education in communities across Canada and around the world. Their programs range from disaster response and preparedness to health and social services, refugee support, and first aid training. The Canadian Red Cross is committed to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and building resilient communities through their extensive network of volunteers and partnerships.
We’ve contributed to the Canadian Red Cross’s efforts during the Ukraine war, helping to provide essential aid and support to those who have been and are continued to be affected by the conflict.
#TeamTrees
TeamTrees is a global reforestation initiative that was launched by YouTubers MrBeast and Mark Rober with the goal of planting 20 million trees by the end of 2020. This project, in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, aimed to combat deforestation and climate change by restoring forests worldwide. Each dollar donated resulted in one tree planted, making it an accessible and impactful way for individuals and organizations to contribute to environmental conservation. By supporting the #TeamTrees initiative, we contributed to the planting of thousands of trees and helping to promote environmental sustainability.
